Lisa Pockets (Simms) has been performing stand up comedy since adolescence, she has and continues to run her own open mics and showcases in mid Missouri and her new home of north Florida. She has also been accepted in the Show Me State Comedy Festival, the Wichita Comedy Festival, and the Burbank Comedy Festival. She has opened for likes of Myq Kaplan (Comedy Central, The Tonight Show), Timmy Williams (Whitest Kids You Know) and Emo Phillips (Crashing, The Late Show with David Letterman, SXSW).
